Location: Migori County
Qualifications and Experience
o Diploma in Community Health/ Health Records and Information Technology or any other health related
o At least 1 year experience in research work especially in public health or medical field
o Degree in Biostatistics or Statistics is an added advantage
o Good knowledge of Microsoft office especially Access, Excel and Word.
o Experience with data base creation is an added advantage
o Knowledge of health system is an added advantage
o Routine data collection from various health facilities in Migori County-visit each facility monthly to collect data in collaboration with facility staff for routine program data monitoring.
o Conduct data entry from the MOH registers in the health facilities as well as organizing data strengthening activities.
o Conduct data management activities in response to data queries as needed.
o Support the data managers in their duties.
o Ability to work efficiently as part of a team or independently, depending on the assigned task or situation are desired
o Keeness and ability to work well within a team and independently with minimal supervision and be able to develop on the job
o Excellent organizational skills and ability to determine priorities and meet multiple deadlines
o Flexibility, ability to adapt to a changing and challenging environment are desirable
o Ability to speak fluent English.
o Good verbal and written communication skills.
o Keen to details and ability to work well within a team and independently with minimal supervision and
develop on the job
o Ability to determine priorities and meet deadlines.
o Willingness to travel to rural areas
