Motivation’s Regional office in Nairobi Kikuyu Kenya is advertising for the position of Accountant, Admin and Logistics Officer. The officer will be based in the Nairobi/ Kikuyu office and may be required to travel in and out of the country to give support to the partners.
The role of the Accountant , Admin and Logistics Officer
is to assist the Africa Regional Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the Africa office, including financial management as well as administering the sales operations and account management for the region.
Excellent communication skills including proven ability to effectively communicate with others who are not using their native tongue.
Solid experience of progressively complex accounting systems and procedures
Proven ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
Proven ability of staff capacity building in field offices on accounting policies and procedures
Intermediate expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent organizational skills
Proven ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
Proven analytical and problem-solving ability.
Fluent in English
Accounting Certification or advanced degree (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA, CMA, MBA etc)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in an international NGO,
Experience working with international donors in particular US government and European donors
Familiarity with Sage accounting software
