Royal Media Services Limited wishes to recruit an Accounts Assistant. The roles and responsibilities will include the following among other duties:
To prepare, examine and analysing accounting records and post it in the system
To prepare monthly bank reconciliations
To maintain and reconcile the general ledger and other sub ledgers
To analyse the accuracy and verify expenditure requisition
To ensure the internal controls systems are maintained.
To assist in preparation of annual financial reports
To liaise with creditors and ensure they are paid in time
To liaise with internal and external auditors
Preparing and filing statutory Returns- NHIF, NSSF and PAYE
Receiving and processing request for payment and supplier invoices
Any other duties assigned by the supervisors
Academic and professional Experience
Bachelor of Commerce Degree- Finance/Accounting option
Minimum CPA Part two
Minimum two years’ experience in a busy and similar working environment
Personal Attributes and other requirements
Attention to detail
Knowledge of accounting rules and legislation
Ability to handle risk and solve work problems
