About this role
Komaza has gotten the basics of HR down. Now the team is moving into its next phase of creating awesome people-centric systems and initiatives. Working closely with the Human Resources Manager, the Payroll & Benefits Officer is directly responsible for attending to any benefits related challenges facing our employees. Payroll, medical and other statutory benefits are the lifeblood of this role. This role requires keen attention to detail and a high degree of integrity as well as an understanding of the human side of the business.

What You Will Do
Administer payroll for 300+ employees on a monthly basis
Process advances, deductions, bonuses and loans
Generate and distribute payslips
Process PAYE, NSSF, NHIF and other statutory requirements
Administer health plans, including enrollment and terminations
Review and process insurance provider billings
Coordinate with insurance companies to resolve employee insurance challenges
Maintain payroll records and keep them up to date

What You Should Have
Hold a University Degree in a business related field with an emphasis in Finance/Accounting and a CPA(K) or ACCA
Minimum of 3 years post-undergraduate experience in a payroll and benefits processing role
Project management skills & proficiency in Payroll Softwares, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Experience in organizations with a minimum workforce base of 250+ staff
