ACDI/VOCA is currently seeking a Social and Behavior Change Manager for the anticipated five-year, $60 million USAID-funded Kenya Feed the Future Crops and Dairy Market Systems Development Activity. This anticipated FTF-funded Activity will have a strong focus on sustainable, private-sector driven market development in the dairy, horticulture, and grains value chains. The jobholder is expected to be directly involved in the design and implementation of social and behavior change communications strategies in the project. He/ She will support project objectives through SBCC strategy, especially related to agriculture, gender and youth inclusion messaging, value chains/market systems, and nutrition. The location for this position is Kisumu.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in international development, behavioral economics, agronomy, sociology or other related field; Master’s degree preferred.
At least 8 years of practical and management experience in social and behavior change communication theory and techniques, preferably with knowledge of USAID’s SBC approach.
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing social and behavior change communications strategies.
Experience conducting barrier analyses preferred.
Technical knowledge in gender and development, particularly related to food security, agricultural value chains/market systems, and nutrition-integrated agriculture.
Experience with research methods and conducting field based assessments.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English required.
