The Marketing Administrator provides general administrative assistance to the Senior Field Marketer and Marketing Leadership team.

The individual, under the guidance of the Senior Field Marketer provides a complete Marketing administration and supports the activities and projects relating to Marketing within Dimension Data.

Marketing Administrators demonstrate an understanding of the Marketing environment and stakeholder interests.

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Administrator is to assist with marketing project administration, event support, marketing collateral management and general administrative functions.

What you’ll be doing

Project administration
The Marketing Administrator provides support with the completion of marketing related administrative projects. They maintain project tracking spreadsheets and business line marketing calendars. They schedule project meetings and records and distribute the minutes of these meetings to the relevant stakeholders.

Event support
They display a client service orientation and provide administrative support in terms of event co-ordination. They prepare invitations, event agendas, track payments and refunds and registration forms for events. They assist with the co-ordination of all administrative and logistic activities for catered client events. They assist with managing marketing and media events, arranging preparatory meetings for tradeshows and seminars.

Marketing collateral management
The Marketing Administrator generates trade show passes, thank you letters, and form letters for mailing mass brochures to prospective clients. They establish and maintain a centralised archive of presentations, marketing materials and communications that is accessible to various internal teams. They assist with the creation and assembly of marketing materials for internal stakeholders and ensure the availability of select office marketing collateral stock, including brochures, client lists, awards and accolades, etc.

General administration
The Marketing Administrator assists with day to day filing and ensures that all post is received and issued to the relevant marketing employees. They are responsible for all administrative duties required by the Marketing management team. They co-ordinate meetings with vendors, agencies and managers and book meeting rooms. They co-ordinate travel arrangements and prepare the agendas for meetings.

Behavioural skills
The Marketing Administrator provides efficient administrative support with limited guidance. The individual displays strong orientation towards ensuring client satisfaction and service delivery. They are reliable and are able to produce a high quality of work. They have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They display good attention to detail and are able to manage work processes.
