As part of the External Affairs and Development (EAD) Team, you will be responsible for managing the administrative requirements of the EAD Department and you will be reporting to the External Affairs Manager.
The main duties will include but are not limited to:
Maintaining the EAD administrative systems that support the company’s reporting and compliance requirements.
Maintaining records, registers and files of all EAD correspondence.
Using the accounting system to ensure purchase orders are raised and EAD accounts are settled.
Working with the Finance Department to process and collate all statutory and service payments made to Kenya Government agencies.
Administration and filing of export permits.
Coordinating travel arrangements and associated bookings.
Maintaining an up-to-date stakeholder database.
General administration of the External Affairs office.
To succeed you will require:
A qualification in Administration from an accredited institution and three years’ working experience.
Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
A proactive approach to work.
A demonstrated ability in prioritising competing demands to successfully meet multiple deadlines.
Strong English language (verbal and written) communication skills and a proven ability to work in a diverse team environment
An ability to arrange and coordinate travel itineraries and logistics.
